The outdoor areas of use by parade personnel and participants are Lincoln High parking lots, Capitol Building outside areas (north and south side), and the half mile road in-between.
Everyone must keep at least 6 ft distance from each other. All staff and volunteers will be required to wear a face covering when in these areas.
Parade participates will need to wear a face covering while in the Lincoln High parking lots until they start in the parade line, still maintaining 6 ft distance. Everyone will be asked to take their temperature at home and report any symptoms appropriately. Disposable masks will be available for staff and volunteers who are without.
Spray bottles of bleach mix or sanitizer and disposable towels will be at Lincoln High and Capitol Building for touch surfaces.
There will be 4 portable toilet sites (2 toilets each) with hand sanitizer at Lincoln High, Capitol Building, and on the route.
Items and materials to be used for the parade will not be shared. All items and materials will be quarantined for 7 days or sanitized as appropriate before and after the event.
There will not be any handout to the public of any kind.
If a traditional parade, we will follow the LLCHD guidelines and the CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Facility publication.
The seating for honored guests will be arranged for proper distancing.
The vehicle staging areas will be coordinated in a manner that limits personal interactions. Walking units will be asked to keep distance and mask wearing while in event areas.
No handout items by entrants will be permitted.
If a reverse parade, we will follow the LLCHD guidelines and the CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Facility publication.
All above precautions will be observed.
Entrants will have a designated area on either side of the road for their display. Spectators will then drive down the center lane. Entrants must stay in their areas and spectators in their vehicles.
